program?
Educomp’s smartclass™ is available for teachers and students over the web, and can
also be installed on the school’s local server for faster and more reliable access
to the content. School administrators have to buy the license for Educomp’s smartclass™
program.

What all content will be available
from my textbook?
Educomp’s smartclass™ modules supplement other resources such as the textbook. The
modules available cover important topics that are suitable for exposition using
rich media. In addition, there are interactive elements that students can directly
use to check if they have understood the topics covered in the classroom.

What are the system requirements
to run Smartclass on my PC? Does Smartclass work on other Browsers and Operating
system's?
Educomp’s smartclass™ works on Internet Explorer 6.0 and above on the Windows platform.
Its performance on other browsers is not guaranteed. Please check the system requirements.
Smartclass requires a DSL or other Broadband connection, and the following versions
of Operating System, Internet Explorer, and Media Player. You should also allow
popups.
Operating System: Windows XP, or Windows Vista
Internet Connection: DSL 512 KBPS or above
Screen Resolution: Best viewed in 1024 X 768
Minimum Requirements for Client Machine:
• Window Media Player 9
• Flash Player 9
• Adobe Shockwave Player 10
SmartClass is also available over the school's local intranet network for reliable
and faster access. The school should have following server configuration to access
SmartClass content over the intranet.
